Accessibility Statement

Last updated: August 1, 2026

Paul Andre de Vera is committed to ensuring that seolead.me is accessible to all people, including those with visual, auditory, cognitive, or motor disabilities. This site is built to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and follows best practices from the WAI-ARIA specification.

Accessibility Features

Semantic HTML

All pages use proper heading hierarchy (h1 through h4), landmark elements (main, nav, footer, header), and semantic sectioning for clear document structure.

Keyboard Navigation

All interactive elements including links, buttons, accordion items, and tab panels are fully keyboard accessible and follow a logical focus order.

Screen Reader Support

ARIA roles, labels, and descriptions are applied throughout. Screen-reader-only text (sr-only) is used to provide context for icon-only controls and decorative elements.

Color Contrast

Text and interactive elements meet WCAG 2.1 AA minimum contrast ratios. Primary text (#e8f0ff on #050a14) exceeds the 4.5:1 threshold.

Alternative Text

All meaningful images include descriptive alt text. Decorative images are marked with empty alt attributes so screen readers skip them appropriately.

Responsive Layout

The site is fully responsive and works at viewport widths from 320px upward. Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.

Conformance Status

seolead.me aims to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. The site is partially conformant, meaning some content may not yet fully meet all criteria. We are actively working to address any gaps.

Known Limitations

The Google Maps iframe embedded in the footer is provided by Google and may have accessibility limitations beyond our direct control. Users who require an accessible alternative can use the direct Google Maps link: Open in Google Maps.

Technologies Used

This site relies on the following technologies for accessibility:

  • HTML5 and semantic landmark elements
  • CSS3 with sufficient color contrast and no reliance on color alone to convey meaning
  • WAI-ARIA roles, states, and properties
  • React and Next.js with server-side rendering for fast, accessible content delivery
  • Tailwind CSS with focus-visible utilities for keyboard focus indicators

Testing Approach

Accessibility on this site has been evaluated using the following methods:

  • Manual keyboard navigation testing
  • Screen reader testing with VoiceOver (macOS/iOS) and NVDA (Windows)
  • Automated checks using browser developer tools and accessibility linters
  • Color contrast verification against WCAG 2.1 AA thresholds
